Some copies of the first edition were sold as a package with the book Desperation and a plastic booklight.

As Desperation and Regulators were published on the same day and have covers designed to form a single image when combining the books, it makes sense the two books would have the smame print run (1.7 million copies) but I've never seen that confirmed anywhere.
