There's a small issue going on with the charts at the moment. The last date it's pulling data is around mid-march. It's being looked at but may be a few days+ before we get it straightened out FYI.

Just an update on the charts, so the problem seems to be that the auto update script was timing out after a certain point as it was running all the books/editions at once... Between all the editions it's doing a little under 100 sychs all at once. Running them individually one at a time is pulling just fine.

We're going to probably split these into batches and run 10-20 per hour instead of all at once. I've updated a handful of books individually (Gunslinger 1st , 2nd, My Pretty Pony trade, limited) but I'm going to let the revised auto process do it's work during it's regularly scheduled Sunday night update to verify the new process works.

I'll put an update here on Monday.

As a little update we still haven't figured out an automated fix for running all the updates automatically at once.

So for now, I'm going to manually click the "update" button next to each listing. It's 20 minutes of mindless "OK"...and wait for the page to refresh but it gets the job done.

The problem is that because a lot of books don't have a sale in a week we need some time to pass before we can verify the next "fix" worked or not. So what does that mean for now?

1) I just ran the manual process. Everything is updated thru the 15th.
2) Expect the charts to update manually once every other week vs once per week for a little while.
3) I'll let you guys know when the permanent fix has been tested as working.

The bottom line here is that while the very newest books might not be posted right away the historical data is rock solid and expect the latest data points to be up to two weeks behind instead of a week.

Well my developer went AWOL, I've hired someone else to fix the automation of the charts. The work is starting tonight so if you notice any issues with the site or charts not displaying they should be temporary but may last for a few days.

Just a little update that the automated pulls are starting to flow again for most books. (That's a relief for me because clicking "process" about 150 times was getting old :)

I'm hoping to fully wrap up this automated fix in a week or two at the latest and we'll just keep an eye out on it thru September to make sure things continue to work right.

As before you might notice some weirdness with a chart or two occasionally, probably because we're in the middle of a test but that's been pretty rare so far.
