Lurker, I read The Passage and loved it. Some comment they didn't like where the story went, but I think it was done quite well, and look forward to part 2 & 3.

I see a few people on DT.org have mentioned they aren't too interested in collecting them any more, after picking up The Passage S/L, so I'm thinking of trying to get a copy myself.

I've now finished the first part. Pretty good. Gosh, so many books and so little time...

I have to post my newest Ffordes:
Signed UK (no US yet)

and the proof for the next book in the Thursday Next series

I think the pub date is for March, making this my first proof before publication.
Just call me John!!!

I just received this US proof of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix:

I read that there were only 5000 of these issued (which, for a Harry Potter title, is very small). I'd love to find out more about this edition.

I've also noticed this is a different cover than the one that was published.

It's the slipcased deluxe edition - nice proof.

Originally, I came over to post newest addition, Rothfuss' latest, The Wise Man's Fear

Also got my first non-King Centepede Press books this week - the two Charles Grant Oxrun Station books.
What beautiful books! Never read Grant before, but am enjoying the first one so far...

Thanks, Lurker. I don't own the slipcased edition (I think--I'll have to double-check) but it didn't look familiar.

Nice posts, that's a very neat slipcase on the Harry Potter.

Let us know what you think of it. With the limited edition coming out, I bet plenty of people will wonder if they should pick it up.

Signed copy, from The Strand bookstore. I paid less, even including shipping, than the retail price of the book. I couldn't pass it up!
