Re: How to buy Six Stories and information on the book
Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember reading that 200 copies of the 900 had been misprinted and had to be destroyed, leaving only 700 copies in circulation. I can't remember where I read this or heard this, but it's definitely there. Does this ring a bell with anyone or is it just one of my "senior moments"?

Thanks for the e-mail, even I learned something - I knew about the aftermarket traycase, but not the aftermarket slipcase!

I remember reading the same thing at the overlook connection a few years back, but it's no longer there. Maybe it was a mistake?jhanic wrote:Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember reading that 200 copies of the 900 had been misprinted and had to be destroyed, leaving only 700 copies in circulation. Moderator: Can someone please take a look at the link in the first post in this thread? Each time I click on it, it goes to the appropriate page momentarily but like 5 seconds later it disappears and an ad of some sort appears.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The same thing just happened to me also. I tried it again, though, and quickly right-clicked it and selected "Select All", then copied it into a Word document. I then went back to the page and it is still there. Something weird is going on there for sure!

Re: How to buy Six Stories and information on the book
Looks like there's a flash ad that temporarily takes over the article asking if you want to sign up for the veryfinebooks newsletter. Since this ad is for the company that wrote the article I'm assuming it's been put there on purpose.
I noticed it when opening the link in Internet Explorer, but not when using Firefox.
If you look at the ad, there's the word "close" on the lower right corner of the pop up. Once you click it the ad goes away....also once I clicked "close" the ad hasn't come back.
Let me know if you guys notice anything different.

How rare/valuable is a book signed with Steve instead of stephen?

They're more scarce than the regular signature "Stephen" but I don't think I've ever seen a premium on the price.
