Reading My Pretty Pony

Hi,

I just recieved a copy of My Pretty Pony from a ebay auction. It was still in the shrink wrap, which I took off last night. In general it looks like it is in good condition, but I good see the binding in come cases as I turned a few pages. Only spent about 10 seconds going through the pages. Based on info I had read about this book, seems it is somewhat fragile.

So with that in mind, I am a little nervous that I will damage the book if I read it. Are there any alternate ways to read this book. I hate to buy a book and never read the story. Is there an electronic version that I can legally download, or buy?

I probably won't read it for awhile, at least not until I am done reading UTD (about 50% done, and I am a sloooow reader)

Thanks,
Mike

Pretty sure it is also included in his Nightmares & Dreamscapes collection. (Not sure if the text varies at all).

Ah, looks like you are right. I guess I have already read it then, although probably about 20 years ago. Don't really remember it, but I guess I probably remember less then half of the short stories, especially from that long ago.

When I looked through my copy I ironically found an item that was used as a bookmark in that story (although, it was an item that was probably put there by a friend I loaned it to 5-8 years ago).

Thanks,
Mike

According to Justin Brooks Bibliography there were some textual changes between the two versions. I've never compared them, though.
