Owners of Suntup Edition's first publication The Eyes of the Dragon Art Portfolio had the opportunity to place their order before the general public and match their their number (1-185) and/or letter (A-Z) with that of the Signed Numbered Edition of Misery. At the time of the announcement there were a few EOTD Art Portfolios left which where quickly bought. Almost everyone that had a portfolio chose to get a copy of Misery leaving only a small handful left for general purchase.

In a first for SK gift editions, the Misery gift edition did not have a set print run when announced. Rather Suntup allowed a defined time for everyone to pre-order copies and built the print run around that. If you have taken you gift edition out of the shrinkwrap, take a minute to remove the dust jacket and look at the title debossed on the front to look like Royal typewriter keys!

Towards the release of the book, Misery Numbered edition owners were offered a choice of three different remarques. "Misery the Pig", "Annie Swinging the Axe" and " The Royal Typewriter". Total remarques offered were 50. Total ordered were 32, and it was all mixed between the three options. You can see most of them here.

Suntup announced that four pages in the Numbered edition of Misery appear out of sequence. This occurs between page 226 and 227 due to a binding error. Specifically, half of one of the signature sections were folded backwards, resulting in those pages being out of order. There are no missing or damaged pages; it is only these few pages that appear out of sequence. An errata sheet can be printed out here Also at the link you will find a second errata sheet detailing that a few numbered copies were done in blue ink.

Six unsigned prototypes were made, three with black keys and three with white keys. A set of three of the six were offered for sale in May of 2023 for $19,995 for the set.
