- Slipcased Lettered Edition of 50 copies signed by all contirbutors including SK. These were given as presentation copies the contributors and not sold to the public. Where possible the letters given matched the recipient's name - For example, Stephen King received copy "K" Terry Goodkind recieved copy "G" etc. Issue Price = N/A
- Slipcased Limited Edition of 200 signed and numbered copies, signed by all contributors including Stephen King. Issue Price = $250
- Trade hardback with dustjacket. On the copyright page you should see the number line 0 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 - Issue Price = $27.95
Demand for the limited edition far exceeded supply and was sold thru a hand-pick list of specialty booksellers. The limited edition was carefully allocated, although Waldenbooks reportedly recieved a disproportionate number of them.
Legends (1998) is a collection of "short novels" by a number of noteworthy fantasy authors, edited by Robert Silverberg. All the stories were original to the collection, and set in the authors' established fictional worlds. King's contribution was an original Dark Tower story "The LIttle Sisters of Eluia" which, predicibly it is not only the lead story but King's name is first on the dustjacket of the trade edition as well.
