Many collectors felt that even at $500, this was high for a 14 page book, once the price started climbing many collectors refused to purchase this book sighting corporate greed. Specialty bookstores such as Betts Books refused to offer the book for sale. As such this is one of the ONLY limited edition books that did not sell out before it's release date.

All of the lettered copies reportedly went to King to distribute as he wished. Copy "C" was donated by Margaret in King's office for a fund-raiser for the Prader-Willi Foundation in November 2005.
